Continuously Search for Better Job Opportunities

Now is the time for an exciting Miller household update that has been in the making for some time – one which provides us with valuable takeaways. Nope – no kids – although its title should give that away (though admittedly it doesn’t adhere strictly to grammar – it is just an allusion).

Users familiar with my site might recall that my wife made the leap into nursing from landscape architecture earlier this year.

Though nursing is an expanding field with low unemployment rates (2%), high demand, recession-proof qualities (people still require healthcare when the economy declines) and all four components that provide job security, she experienced difficulty breaking into nursing after graduation.

Experience is often considered paramount when hiring new workers; this holds especially true in nursing and medicine fields where liability concerns and learning curves make experienced personnel preferable over inexperienced ones.
