Fidelity Broadens its Selection of Commission-Free ETFs

Last fall, Vanguard made headlines when they expanded their commission-free ETF offering from 77 to 1,800+, marking an enormous breakthrough for investors seeking the ease and low costs associated with passive index investing ETFs can provide.

Fidelity recently made an effort to keep up with demand by expanding their commission-free ETF offering up to 500+.

Fidelity now offers commission-free ETFs from multiple providers, such as:

American Century, Franklin Templeton, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Invesco Janus Henderson and Invesco Asset Management are some of the more well-known investment managers available, as are JP Morgan Asset Management (Legg Mason Global Asset Management and PIMCO are other examples), State Street Global Advisors SPDR ETFs are other.
Fidelity’s ETF provider lineup now stands at 13 (up from only two before).
